Bears by Two Hearts

Designed and handmade by Trish Hansford

Meet Bronson!

Bronson is one of a kind.  He is crafted with the finest mohair in a luxurious cinnamon color with a deeper background.  His paw and foot pads are unique in that they are an overdyed linen and my logo, two hearts, are cross stitched with silk threads on his left foot.  His eyes are black German glass, and he is stuffed with two different types of polyfiber for a wonderful firm as well as comfortable feel.  His nose is embroidered with a Perle cotton thread.  He is 5 way jointed, so he can be posed in many different positions.  He is 16 inches tall when standing, but he prefers to sit at 11 inches.

He is ready to give lots of hugs and love.

Meet Marina!

Marina is named for the color of her mohair; a beautiful aqua, which is reminiscent of the color of the sea at the shorelines of the Bahama Islands.  Her mohair is a soft and curly 3/4 inch pile.

Marina's paw and foot pads are a wonderful match in aqua linen and my two hearts are stitched in an over dyed silk thread that complement the color of mohair and pads.

Her eyes are amber in color and match her hand-strung necklace of shells imported from the Philippines.  Her necklace is made just for her and, therefore, is not removable.

Marina's nose is hand embroidered using an over dyed Pima cotton.

Marina is five way jointed and stands at just about 16 inches, but prefers to sit.  She is stuffed with two kinds of polyfiber for a nice soft, yet firm feel.

Marina loves to give hugs.

Meet Plum Blossom!

Plum Blossom is stitched in a dusty lavender color mohair.  This mohair is curly and about 3/4 inches long.

Her paw and foot pads are made from a contrasting over dyed linen.  My two hearts are stitched in an over dyed silk thread.

Her nose is embroidered with a black Perle cotton thread.  Her eyes are German, black glass.

Plum Blossom is five way jointed.  She is 15 inches tall and can stand on her own with some help from Mom or Dad.

She is stuffed with plastic pellets and two types of polyfiber to give her a firm, yet comfy feel.

I have hand-stitched a bow to complement her mohair and give her just the right finishing touch.

She is longing to be adopted.  Won't you adopt her today.

This is Fawna.  This little gal will melt your heart.  She is made from a gorgeous one inch pile, curly tipped mohair.  The color is carmel with brown tips.  Very thick and luxurious to the feel.  Fawna's paw and foot pads are a linen; coffee bean in color.  My hearts have been stitched using over dyed threads.  They really do not stand out on this bear like I have done on others as I did not want to detract from the mohair.  Her eyes are German, black glass.  I have needle felted her nose using a black Merino wool.  She stands at 12.5 inches in height but prefers to sit.  She is five way jointed and is filled with pellets, two types of polyfiber and lots of love.

Presenting...

King Hersh Bear

King Hersh Bear is made from a dark brown, semi sparse kid mohair that is 5/8 inches in length.  I handpainted his eyes a shimmering gold color to match his crown and collar.  His crown is purchased, but his collar is handmade by me.  Both crown and collar are removable for cleaning purposes.  His nose is stitched with a handpainted pima cotton thread manufactured by Watercolours; color copper.  He is five way jointed and stands 16 inches tall and sits at 10 inches.  He can stand on his own.   He is filled with a combination of plastic pellets and polyfiber.  His paw and foot pads are linen and my two hearts are cross stitched using an over dyed thread.
